 Mike Reilly, Head Professional

Mike Reilly is a PGA professional golfer. He was born in Babylon and is the resident Head Professional for Peninsula Golf Club and Skydrive of Farmingdale. Mike joined the ranks of the PGA in 1994.

He has competed in more than 60 professional golfing events, including eight New York State Opens, seven Metropolitan Opens and eight Metropolitan PGA Championships. In 2003, he competed on the American PGA tour in the Buick Classic, now Barclay’s Classic at Westchester Country Club in Rye, NY. Mike competed alongside Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, and many other top PGA professionals.

A true measure of an accomplished instructor is in the performance of his students. Mike is proud to say one of his students, Matt Lowe of Farmingdale, was the youngest competitor in the 2009 PGA local US Open qualifier at Cherry Hill, NJ. Mike’s son, Mark Reilly, at thirteen years old was the US Kids World Champion for 2008.
